Hi! I’m a Graphic Designer, Figure Drawing Teacher, and Cartoonist. Currently, I run syndicom's social media channels. I also help small businesses develop their identity. For the past 5 years, I’ve created content for NGOs such as UNICEF and FAO. I’m based in Berne, Switzerland. Here is some work I'd like to share:
Promoting FAO's State of the World's Forest Report
Playful interpretation of the key messages of this years Report on the State of the World's Forests, for UNFAO, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.
See more visuals and a short animation in this thread on twitter (Design+Concept).
Raising Awareness for the Refugee and Migrant Crisis
In the lead-up to the 2016 UN General Assembly in New York, UNICEF asked illustrators from around the world to depict their wishes for refugee and migrant children. We then asked people to come up with their own illustrations, which in terms we shared on our channels. Among the participating artists were famous artists like Jean Jullien, Christoph Niemann and Liana Finck. I initiated and oversaw this project.
Ukraine Conflict, 2 Year Anniversary
In a partnership with CUNY (City University of New York), students worked on real life briefs which we collected from UNICEF country offices from around the world. In this case, the student created five storyboards for 15 second animations, which were used in the global social media campaign to commemorate the 2 year anniversary of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. I briefed the students, worked with them on their ideas, and liased with the country office (Mentoring of students, Project Management).

5 Million Facebook Fans Celebration, CTA Digital Volunteering
Celebrating milestones is important, but coming across self-congratulatory might do more damage than good. That's why in this case we used the positive moment to reach out to people and ask them to become digital volunteers for UNICEF (Concept, After Effects Animation).

Day-to-Day Social Media Communication
Creating visual assets for UNICEF's day-to-day communication including infographics, animations, but also tumblr microsites, banner ads, how-to documents and style guides, logos, and roll up banners. As a part of a bigger rebranding exercise, I also streamlined UNICEF's global social media templates and helped creating a styleguide, to align the look of it's social media channels and that of country offices who create their own content. (Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign, AfterEffects).
